About Me
Hi, I’m Summer – a Level 3 qualified childcare practitioner with over 5 years of experience working with children from 3 months to 11 years old. I’ve always had a strong passion for working with children and supporting their development through fun, engaging, and age-appropriate activities. I’m passionate about creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment for children to grow and thrive.
I currently work in a Special Educational Needs (SEN) school, supporting children with complex needs including autism, ADHD, global developmental delay, sensory processing difficulties, and non-verbal communication needs. I have experience using a range of strategies and tools to support individual learning and development, including PECS, Makaton, visual timetables, sensory play, and personalised routines. I am confident in managing challenging behaviours in a calm, consistent, and compassionate way, and I’m committed to helping each child reach their full potential emotionally, socially, and academically.
I hold a valid Paediatric First Aid certification and a current DBS check. I’m available evenings, weekends, and during half-term holidays. I do not drive but I’m happy to travel to support your family’s needs.

We've been having Summer babysit our 5 year old for nearly a year. From the start we were put at ease with her kind nature and the way she interacted with our daughter. Our daughter loves when Summer comes over and we have nothing but good things to say about her.
She's great at communicating and scheduling. She's always on time.

If anyone is looking for childcare, I highly recommend Summer. The moment she walked through my door, she presented professionalism. She knows her job quite well and hit it off with my 14 month old baby. Her first time round looking after my baby, I felt at ease whilst I ran around doing Christmas shopping. When I returned, my flat was in order, made sure my baby was looking presentable and comfortable. She looked so so happy all day long. Summer has good interpersonal skills and engaged well with my toddler.

We are incredibly grateful to have found Summer as our babysitter for our daughter, Charlotte. From the very first day, Summer has shown exceptional care, patience, and creativity in her interactions with Charlotte.
Summer has a natural ability to connect with children, making Charlotte feel comfortable and happy.
