My Summary

My Experience

I have many years of experience, both in a Nursery setting and as a Nanny; I have been in my current Nanny position since 2015, and before I was part of my amazing current family I worked for another wonderful family for one year.
In my current role I have gained experience of many different aspects of supporting babies and children as they grow, and have been involved in a vast number of life transitions and developmental stages. I have experienced the responsibility of being in charge of hospital appointments, physiotherapy routines and medication management. I also gained experience with my current family as a homeschool teacher (during Covid lockdowns!) and consequently enjoyed three years working as a Nursery and Reception class Teaching Assistant, alongside afterschool Nannying. This allowed me to gain not only knowledge of Nursery and Reception curriculum and different pedagogies but also experience in supporting children with varied needs and gave me greater insight into school readiness. I have more recently been with my current family in a role as a Nanny and Tutor, supporting my beloved charges academically as they approached the end of Primary School and whilst they prepare for Secondary.

My Qualifications

I am Ofsted registered and always have a Paediatric Fist Aid Certification. I have a Level three Diploma in Early Learning and Childcare and an Early Years Foundation Degree. I also hold a full driving licence and am happy to use my own car for work.

My Availability

I would love to find a family needing a Nanny for three days a week. I would like to work as many hours as possible within that three days, ideally morning until evening, but I am aware that each family had its own requirements, so would be happy to be flexible for a good fit.

My Fees

• Nannying from £22.00 per hour (gross)

I am mindful that financial decisions are personal for every family and would be open to respectful discussion regarding fees, but I do feel that my experience and my qualifications should be taken into consideration when opening discussions.
