I was born and raised in Leigh on sea, being 1 of 4 siblings and my mother being a childminder whilst I was growing up. I have always been around children which is where I grew my passion for childcare, helping my mum from such an early age.
I am a very active individual and like to workout and move my body at-least 5 times a week. I have a real passion for cooking nutritious, balanced meals and I always enjoy getting the children I care for involved. I love to dance and growing up I was a competitive dancer so we will always be singing or dancing. I practice positive affirmations and thinking within my work and I encourage the children to practice this also.
I am very child led as every day in childcare is different and every day feel differently.
My Experience
I have nearly five years of childcare experience caring for children from newborns to 11 years old. My experience includes working as a full-time nanny, nursery assistant and babysitter, providing sole-charge care, preparing meals, supporting routines, organising activities, school and nursery runs, potty training, homework and developmental play.
My Qualifications
I hold an Enhanced DBS check, Paediatric First Aid certification and Essex Safeguarding Children Board Level 1 training. I also have GCSE qualifications, including English, Mathematics, Science and Sociology, alongside extensive practical childcare experience and a strong background in supporting children’s safety, wellbeing, learning and development.
