About Me

Ofsted-registered, nature-led childcare from a husband-and-wife team in Fordham. With beautiful woodland just five minutes' walk from the door, our Forest School–inspired approach puts curiosity, fresh air and hands-on discovery at the heart of every day, from garden growing to real woodland exploring. We also use approaches from Montessori and Waldorf (Steiner). As a small family setting, we offer the kind of calm, personal, one-to-one care that larger settings simply can't. I'm currently working towards my Early Years Educator Level 3. Together we offer a safe, nurturing and genuinely enriching start to your child's early years.

My Experience

I've been working as a full-time childminder for the past year, after helping alongside my wife in the setting before joining fully. My wife has been childminding for two and a half years, so together we bring a good depth of hands-on experience. We're also parents ourselves; our six-year-old daughter has given us plenty of first-hand understanding of how children grow, learn and thrive. On the qualifications side, I hold a Level 3 in Childminding in a Home Setting and a current Paediatric First Aid certificate, and I'm working towards my Early Years Educator Level 3. My latest Ofsted report is available to be viewed. Between us we offer a warm, capable and genuinely experienced pair of hands, always learning and building on our practice to give every child the best possible care.
