About Me
We are a family of 4 (Mum, Dad, 2 year old boy and 4 month old boy) We also have a friendly female labrador. Our 2 year old is at nursery 4 days a week (not Wednesday) Mum is on maternity leave until April 2026 and Dad works for the emergency services so has an irregular rota, making childcare for Mum challenging at times, especially on weekends without nursery for our toddler. This rota is known months ahead of time but can be subject to short term change.
My Requirements
Looking for a childminder or nanny for support on Wednesdays when our toddler is not at nursery. Dad works on a rotating shift pattern and Mum is needing support on Wednesdays for our toddler. We are potentially also needing some nanny support for weekends when Dad is working and we don't have childcare as well as some additional post-nursery run support when Dad is on a late shift.

Jo is an outstanding childminder. She has looked after our 2 year old at short notice with so much care and thoughtfulness. Jo consistently went above and beyond from the very beginning to make our son feel at home, happy and safe with her at her home. Jo also made us feel very confident that our son was being well looked after and supporting his development. Jo was an excellent communicator with ourselves about how our son was doing on a daily basis and quick to let us know if there were any issues or concerns. Jo puts in an incredible amount of effort into activities for the children to make it personal and engaging for them. It is clear at the end of the day how much son our son has enjoyed his time with Jo. He is always smiling at the end of the day and is talking about her on his way home. We are so grateful that we were lucky enough to have Jo care for our son at such short notice when we were in need of childcare.
