About Us
We are a small setting our Preschool group lean in a woodland following the Forest school Aproch, along with children learning how to care for our animals sheep and rabbit.
Puddle Ducks uses real materials where possible, we cannot do this all the time, so this is why we say we have adopted the Montessori and Reggio approach as we love the children to enjoy the setting inside and out.

Puddle Ducks has a Forest School, we have the use of a woodland area, where we use the materials from the wood and experience learning through following our Forest school sessions woodland area. We take all children who are due to start school the following September to the woods every day, they have a forest school session every day along with following the EYFS, we are using the Developmental Matter frame work since September 2021.

Puddle Ducks learning approach uses the above methods so that children have the opportunity to develop and grow at their own pace and in a way that best suits them, we believe at Puddle Ducks that every child is unique and special and our family approach is paramount for this to happen.
