My Experience

I'm a dedicated Early Years Apprentice currently working in a nursery setting. I’m passionate about creating nurturing, engaging environments where young children feel safe, supported, and inspired to explore the world around them.
I bring a hands-on, reflective approach to my practice, regularly observing and learning from experienced colleagues to deepen my understanding of child development. I love planning creative and sensory-rich activities that spark curiosity and support each child’s unique learning journey. Alongside my nursery role, I’ve also gained valuable experience babysitting for families, which has strengthened my confidence in building trusting relationships with both children and parents. Babysitting has taught me to be flexible, calm under pressure, and responsive to individual routines and skills that complement my nursery practice and deepen my understanding of children in different settings.
