An enthusiastic and engaging Nursery Assistant with 2 years’ experience of working with children up to the age of 10 years. My Experience
Providing high-quality day-care provision for children aged 2-10 years, carrying out planned activities and assisting in the delivery of an agreed curriculum, sharing the responsibility for the care, presentation, display, safety, organisation and appearance of the facilities and equipment and encouraging parental involvement and maintaining confidentiality.
Key responsibilities:
• Laying out classroom activities and encouraging tidy up time
• Promoting children’s fine and gross motor skills

• Co-ordinating soft and wet play, outdoor and indoor activities and materials for craft play
• Managing small reading groups of children with different reading ages and understanding
• Ensuring the child’s emotional needs, safety and security are met in line with safeguarding

• Prepare healthy snacks and meals on a daily basis
• Encourage the younger children with toileting
• Carrying out nappy changing
