I enjoy planning creative activities, encouraging learning through play, and making sure children feel happy, safe, and listened to. I particularly love reading, playing guitar, playing hockey and doing arts and crafts. I've been cooking my own meals and baking since I was eleven. Due to my confidence in my skills I can definitely make this an activity for the kids where it will be safe, entertaining and delicious!
My Experience
- Almost 3 years working as a one-to-one and two-to-one SEN TA in multiple year groups with ages 3-12 since 2023. In this role I have been praised by my colleagues for my impact on the children that I've worked with. I have experience with children that have Autism and ADHD and know how to navigate them very well.
- I had a volunteering role was with a Montessouri nursery and I supported the staff for 6 months multiple times a week. My duties involved reading with them, preparing snacks and drinks, and watch over them during both inside and outside play times, helping them in the toilet as and when needed.
- I have babysat my 6 month old, 5 year old and 8 year old cousins for around 8 hours a day for a prolonged period. This including playtime, preparing meals and snacks, feeding (bottle feeding too) ,watching over them during naps, helping them in the toilet.
My Qualifications
Currently studying Psychology and Cognitive Neuroscience at Leicester University.
