About Me

I have 3 younger siblings aged 6, 7 and 10 who I have helped care for since birth and so I have lots of experience with all sorts of ages and both boys and girls. I also have had lots of payed childcare roles, including caring for multiple children at once, children with special needs along with newborns.

My Experience

I have had full responsibility for the care of multiple children of different ages at once from waking until bedtime. Here I learnt how to make mundane routine tasks like mealtimes, bath time and bedtime engaging and enjoyable along with finding fun and new activities for the children to experience. These roles have taught me a lot about empathy and emotional intelligence as I have learnt to understand why a child is acting a certain way.

My Qualifications

I am currently studying at University and although I have lots of childcare experience I do not have any professional qualifications.
