My Experience

I have over 10 years of dedicated experience in childcare, holding both Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications, with experience caring for children aged 6 months to 5 years.

Currently, I work as a nanny for 2 days a week and spend 3 days a week in a nursery, giving me a wonderful mix of one-to-one care and group setting experience. My daily duties cover all aspects of care: supporting feeding, nappy changing, and gentle toilet training; leading play-based activities that help children build early skills in reading, writing, and spelling; and ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, and settled during rest and nap times. I take great pride in building warm, trusting relationships with every child, and I always keep parents fully informed and reassured through open, friendly communication. Outside of these roles, I also occasionally babysit for friends — further showing my reliability and genuine love for caring for children.

I grew up in Walthamstow, where I attended local schools before starting my career with a Level 2 Childcare Apprenticeship at a local nursery. I went on to complete my Level 3 qualification at the same setting, which I have recently finished. Being part of a close family — I am a twin with three siblings total — and having two cats at home has naturally shaped my caring, patient, and responsible approach to everything I do.

I have loved every moment of my work so far; it has been incredibly rewarding to watch children grow, learn, and gain confidence. Now, I am ready to take the next step and am actively seeking a full-time position (with flexibility on hours) where I can bring all my experience, passion, and skills to a new team, while continuing to build a long-term career in childcare.
