My Requirements

SPECIAL NEEDS EXPERIENCE IS A MUST.

I have 3 boys aged 5(George),8 (Freddie) and 9(Alfie). Freddie has an EHCP and is diagnosed with both Autism/ADHD and has challenging behaviours. He has a one to one in school as he can become easily distracted and sometimes distressed where he needs his own time. Freddie also struggles with attachment issues - I don't like to introduce him to people that he's not going to make a bond with and go back to so finding a childminder/nanny/nursery that he can form a good relationship with is a must.

I am currently looking for a childminder/nanny/nursery - preferably with an assistant or someone that can help if he is getting distressed, that can accommodate all 3 of my children in the half term holidays as I don't have enough holidays to cover time off from work. Finding someone that has extensive special needs experience is a must for me as I need to be certain Freddie will be looked after in the right way and not seen as the naughty child - because that is what he isn't.

Some days he is the most loving, caring little boy and responds well to things, other days he can become quite distressed and needs more attention - and talking to find out what's going on to help him feel more at ease. I have found holiday clubs don't work for him as a lot of the people that run them aren't trained properly and I have had phone calls asking to collect him before because they didn't know what to do with him and said he was a safeguarding risk to others.

Alfie is my eldest - He is a very caring boy and responds well to learning and doing different activities and loves doing different things. He likes to timekeep and likes to be told a routine of what he's doing so he will ask a lot of questions sometimes and keep you busy :P He also helps with Freddie and George and is great with making them feel more comfortable and he helps them when he can when they are in a different environment.

George is my youngest - He's the cheeky chappy but again very caring and loving and he's a joy to be around.
