I am a qualified teacher and experienced nanny currently supporting several families with children aged 15 months to 10 years. I will be available for a new part-time position from May.

I offer a calm, warm and highly engaged approach, combining teaching expertise with a play-based, child-centred philosophy. I build trusting relationships quickly and support children’s development through conversation, creativity, outdoor exploration, and following their natural interests. I place strong value on emotional security, curiosity, and confidence-building.

My professional background spans secondary education, tutoring, university administration, and creative work. This gives me excellent organisational skills, adaptability, and the ability to support both academic learning and the practical rhythms of family life. I am confident working across age groups, supporting routines, behaviour boundaries, school readiness, homework, in an encouraging and developmentally appropriate way.

I am also a confident cook and enjoy preparing nutritious, appealing meals, often involving children to encourage independence and a positive relationship with food.
