About Me
We are a friendly family living in Belsize Park, NW3, with our 7-year-old daughter and 5-year-old son.
Both children are happy, sociable and active, and love being outdoors, playing together and spending time with friends. They are also very different in personality, which makes life at home fun and varied — our daughter loves reading, arts and crafts and spending time with friends, while our son is happiest building Lego, doing puzzles, playing with cars and chatting away!
Both children attend schools within a 10 minute walk of our home, making the school runs straightforward. After school, they enjoy playing locally, seeing friends and getting outside.
We both work full-time, splitting our time between home and the office, and are generally home by around 6.30pm.
We are an easy-going and friendly family looking for someone who will become a valued part of our family and enjoy spending time with the children.
My Requirements
We are looking for a warm, caring and reliable nanny to join our friendly family in Belsize Park, conveniently located close to both Belsize Park and Swiss Cottage tube stations.
We are offering approximately 20–25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, generally from 3pm to 7pm. There is some flexibility around the hours for the right person, including the option to start one to two hours earlier on a couple of days to help prepare the children’s meals.
There may also be opportunities for additional hours during the school holidays, if this suits you.
The role
Collecting our two children from school, both within a short walk of our home
Looking after them after school and making their afternoons fun, active and engaging
Supporting them with schoolwork and reading, including maths and handwriting
Preparing and serving their dinner
Helping with simple meal preparation on days when you start earlier
Getting out and about with the children and making the most of the local area
We are looking for someone who is warm, proactive and enjoys spending time with children, as well as being reliable and organised. Ideally, you will live locally and be able to reach us easily on foot, by bus or by tube.
Non-smoker essential.
We are a friendly, easy-going family and would love to find someone who will become a valued part of our home and build a lovely relationship with the children.
