About Me
My name is Tamaris, I work with my husband and we offer a professional childminding service. I am Ofsted registered.
We have 3 children of our own aged 8, 9 and 20.
I can offer a safe environment with a secure fenced garden and activities with plenty of things for the children to do!
I understand that some parents would prefer to have their young children cared for in more of a home setting than a nursery, this means that we can dedicate more one to one time with your child. We will be following the EYFS (early years foundation stage) in all seven areas of learning.
I have lots of toys and books, and there are plenty of activities that your child can do such as going on walks to the local park, the library, painting, art, baking, nature trails, messy play, singing, dancing, visits to our local farm and lots more!
Prior to minding I was a retail manager for 15 years. Before that I worked in New York with Camp America teaching tennis to young children and also schools in the uk as a class assistant.

We have looked after many different nationalities. Many didn’t speak any English on starting and are now ready for school speaking English very clearly.

We work all year round, full time and term time welcome.

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.50 per hour

I am able to offer the government funding for all ages. We offer tax free childcare. I am open all year round except Bank Holidays and we take a total of 4 weeks holiday per year, these dates are given to parents in January. My rates are in line with other providers in the locality. my daughter who's 8 month old has been going with Tamaris and Adam for almost three month and i couldn't be happier with their care. They are fun, kind and careful person towards my daughter's needs and the enviroment they provide is safe, genuine and stimulating for her.
I definitely feel at ease when she is in their care and i highly reccomend them to anyone who's looking for reliable and professional care for their children!

As a first time mum, I was very anxious at the prospect of leaving my 9 month little boy to return to work, but from the moment I met Loui and Adam I clicked with them and they reassured me with their warm, welcoming personalities, their lovely home and facilities, and the way they interacted with my child and the other children.
My little boy is unsure of people other than mum and dad, but he has settled in so well with Loui and Adam and this is testament to them as childminders. I’m so glad I chose them to entrust with caring for my little boy.

My son who is now almost 14 months old has been with Lou and Adam for 3 months, I couldn’t be happier, they are lovely and have really helped my son settling in, he has been learning new skills and interacting with all the other children so well! They keep me at ease by sending me updates throughout the day and it really does feel like a home away from home for my little boy!
