About Me
I am 18 from Poole, I love football, being outside and learning about how children develop and play. I am a young carer for my mum and I have had help from MYTIME young carers on how to work. Because I am a young carer means I have very good time keeping and communication skills and I make sure every job is done to the fullest. I love working with children and would like to become a Senco in the future. I also have a full DBS check.
My Experience
I have been babysitting since 2020. I have babysat children between the ages of 2 and 14. I have been doing childcare at college since 2022 and I have completed my level 1 qualification and I am currently doing the level 2 qualification.
My Qualifications
Level 1 childcare. In this course I learnt about children’s development, this includes motor skills. And speech, language and emotional development. I’m currently doing my level 2 qualification in caring for children and looking after children in a babysitting environment. At school I didn’t do very well in my English and maths GCSEs but I succeeded in btec sport and hospitality and catering.

- Babysitting from £9.00 per hour
I have charged £8 before but I feel that now I have more understanding in children I should charge more. £9 is the minimum. But obviously it depends on the situation of how many children and jobs I may have to do! :)
