About Us

Blues Preschool & Nursery is a registered charity, providing high quality Early Years education for children aged 2-5 years old. We have been established for over 40 years and are highly regarded within the local community.

We have a highly qualified staff team including a Special Educational Needs Coordinator and aim to offer a staff to child ratio which exceeds Ofsted requirements.

Our Fees

  • Childcare from £22.50 per morning
  • Childcare from £22.50 per afternoon
  • Childcare from £45.00 per day

From Sept 2025 our session fees are as follows:
Morning Session - £22.50
Afternoon Session - £22.50
Full Day Session - £45

A morning session at Blues is 3 hours (8:50am - 11:50am)
An afternoon session at Blues is 3 hours (11:50am - 2:50pm)
An all day session is 6 hours (8:50am - 2:50pm)

The full cost of these sessions will be covered by Government Funding for qualifying children.

There is a charge of 50p per session for a healthy snack, which is paid half termly for all children except those in receipt of Early Years Pupil Premium funding. Parents will be invoiced 50p per 3 hr session for voluntary snack charge. A session is a morning or afternoon, so 2 sessions in one full day is a £1 voluntary snack charge
