My Summary
About Me
Hi! I’m a registered childminder, a proud mum to two little boys, and I’m passionate about creating a safe, nurturing, and fun environment for children to grow and thrive. I have over 10 years of experience working with children and young people, both in their homes, my home and within healthcare settings, and I understand how important it is to support their emotional, social, and physical development at every stage.
I love working with children of all ages and believe strongly in the power of play, positive relationships, and routine. I’m especially passionate about helping children build confidence in social settings and supporting their emotional wellbeing from a young age.
I’m also a big believer in the benefits of outdoor play and nature-based learning. We spend time outside every day—whether it’s exploring nature, enjoying the garden, or going on local outings. I’ve seen firsthand how fresh air, physical activity, and unstructured outdoor play help children flourish.
I’m fluent in both Spanish and Swedish, and I regularly incorporate Spanish into my daily activities—giving children the chance to start learning a second language in a fun and natural way.
My setting is open Monday to Friday from 8am to 6pm. I also offer wraparound care, including school drop-offs and pick-ups. I accept 15 and 30 hours of government-funded childcare.
As a fellow healthcare worker, I know how hard it can be to find childcare that fits around shift patterns. That’s why I also offer flexible hours on request to help support shift-working families.
Please feel free to get in touch—I’d love to chat and see if my setting is the right fit for your little one!
My Experience
I am a qualified Paediatric Nurse with 4 years of experience working on a children’s ward in a London hospital, caring for children aged 0–16. During this time, I progressed from Staff Nurse to Junior Sister/Nurse in Charge, gaining valuable experience in managing care, supporting families, and working under pressure. Prior to this, I trained and worked as a Student Nurse and Health Care Assistant at Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital.
Alongside my nursing career, I have provided childcare for over 10 years—babysitting for local families both in their homes and in my own, often while studying or working full-time. I also previously worked as a lifeguard and swimming teacher, teaching children aged 3+ essential water safety and swimming skills.
I left my role on the hospital ward a year ago to focus on caring for my own children and now provide childcare professionally from my home as a registered childminder

• BSc (Hons) in Paediatric Nursing – University degree in Children’s Nursing with extensive clinical experience. I am a registered nurse with the NMC and continue to maintain my professional registration and up-to-date practice.

The best Childminder in the area! Honestly, so impressed with everything Bianca does, from the excellent communication updating me on how my daughter is doing, to the activities she does with the children! My daughter loves being with Bianca and I cannot thank her enough for all she does!
The resources give the environment a true home from home feel and are very interactive for all ages. Bianca really goes above and beyond regularly taking my daughter on trips around the local area including to the park & to the local nature reserve.
Thank you Bianca for helping my daughter grow and learn! Couldn’t recommend you more!

Bianca has previously looked after my three children(ages 5, ,6, and 8) on numerous occasions and my husband and I trust her implicitly. Without fail, she has been able to keep my three kids happy, healthy, and looking forward to the next time. Bianca is a quality human being and you couldn't possibly have a better, more skilled person to look after your little ones. I'm happy to answer questions if anyone has any.

Bianca has looked after my little boy a few times over the past year. Bianca is extremely welcoming, kind and reliable and my son seemed comfortable with her from the get go which made it so much easier for me to leave him as I knew he was in safe hands, especially given that she is a trained children’s nurse which greatly put me at ease.
Bianca will always do stimulating activities with him and he seems to have always learnt something new when with her - he even understands some commands in Spanish!
She will always make freshly cooked healthy meals which he thoroughly enjoys and takes the pressure off me for the day! I also love the fact that he gets out in the outdoors when with her.
For anyone looking for a childminder I would highly recommend Bianca, you will be leaving your child in such safe and capable hands. I couldn’t wish for anyone better!

Bianca has looked after my nine month old baby boy on several occasions. As a first time mum I was very anxious about leaving him with someone other than my mum but the fact that she is a qualified nurse really helped reduce my anxiety around leaving him. During the time he was with her, she kept me informed of how he was doing via message and she sent me some photos and a video so I could see that he was settled and content. My child has dietary restrictions and Bianca was more than happy to accommodate them. I cannot recommend Bianca enough and I’m so happy to have found her!
