About Me
Hi! We’re looking for a caring, reliable registered childminder for our daughter, Mabel, who turns 2 in November 2026.
We’re hoping to find someone with availability for 2 days a week, starting in January 2027 (days are still to be confirmed). We’d love to find someone who feels like an extension of our family and can provide a safe, fun and nurturing environment where Mabel can thrive.
My Requirements
Mabel is a happy, affectionate little girl who loves dancing, music and being outdoors. She enjoys exploring, soft play, trips to the park, sensory activities, books, arts and crafts, and being around other children.
Every Thursday we take her to a local playgroup for an hour, and she absolutely loves it. She enjoys exploring the different toys, watching the other children, joining in with the songs and taking everything in.
Mabel has delays in her development. At the moment she isn’t talking and has very limited understanding, so we’re looking for someone who is patient, caring and understanding, and who will support her development at her own pace. Experience with children who have additional needs or developmental delays would be a bonus, but most importantly we’re looking for someone who will give her a nurturing, loving environment where she can grow in confidence.
We’re looking for someone who:
* Is a registered childminder.
* Accepts the 15 hours funded childcare.
* Can offer 2 full days a week from January 2027.
* Has no pets, please.
* Doesn’t mind that we don’t require school holiday care.
* Enjoys planning fun, age-appropriate activities and outdoor play.
