About Me
I am an Ofsted Registered child minder based in Kingston in the KT1 area. I have been child minding for the last 3 years. I live with my husband and three children in a beautiful spacious house, which also has a lovely garden with a trampoline. Although every child is different, I believe children need to come into a welcoming home, where they are understood, made to feel important and be happy. I have also worked as an LSA/Teaching Assistant in our local school for the last three years.
The following schools are close to my home: Coombe Hill Infants and Coombe Hill Juniors school. I live minutes away from local Norbiton station, Kingston Hospital, Tesco Express at the Triangle and Dickerage Park. We also have a beautiful daffodil green opposite our house.
I can take children/parents who are on funding - 9months, 2 and 3 year olds.
My Experience
Being a mother of three I have had experience of raising my own children who are now in full time education. I have been childminding children of different ages for nearly three years. I have learnt every child is special in their own way, its how we work with them brings out the best in them. I have also learnt this while working as an LSA/Teaching Assistant at Coombe Hill School.
My Qualifications
- Understanding Child Development and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) for learning, development and childcare
- Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (STALIS) Course Level 3
- Paediatric First Training
My Availability
I work between 07:30am – 6:00pm Monday – Friday.
My husband is my assistant (DBS Checked) and helps with school pick-ups. He keeps them entertained too... bit of a clown :)

My Fees
- Childminding from £7.50 per hour
I charge a flat fee of £22 for after school pickups and childminding from 3:00 – 6:00 pm (this includes healthy snacks)

Tabassum and her family offers a warm, welcoming space where my child feels truly at ease. There's always something fun to do but just as importantly, there's room to unwind after a busy day at school. The meals she provides are thoughtfully prepared, with care for what my child enjoys and needs. Her home is social, safe, and full of joy. My child genuinely looks forward to spending time there. Tabassum’s childminding has become a real home away from home for us. We're so grateful!

When i ask my daughter how her day has been, she only talks about after school with Tabassum. She loves her time there and I feel totally confident that she's safe and being cared for. Very much recommend.

My daughter has been with Tabassum for a full year, and what a year it has been! From the first day, Tabassum created a warm, welcoming, and nurturing environment that quickly put both of us at ease. Her home feels like a safe, happy, clean, bright, and full of thoughtful touches that show how much she cares.
Every day, Tabassum engages the children with a lovely blend of indoor crafts, outdoor play (the garden and trampoline are always a hit!), and healthy snacks. I’ve seen my daughter’s confidence and curiosity flourish under her attentive and gentle guidance.
The only reason we are ending is because I’m now on maternity leave and will be at home full-time. It’s bittersweet as my daughter absolutely adores her time with Tabassum, and we both feel very sad to leave such a genuinely loving and professional childminder.
I cannot recommend Tabassum highly enough, she’s been an incredible part of our lives, and any family would be lucky to have her!

Tabassum and her family are so welcoming and caring, my son genuinely enjoys spending time at her lovely home. Tabassum sends updates on the day about what he's done and eaten, also videos on his activity. She uses and provides age-appropriate toys to support play and development. I would highly recommend her.

Tabassum provides a safe, welcoming environment. There are always fun things that are also educational for my child to engage in. Simultaneously if she needs the space to just relax after a busy school day, there is space for this too. The healthy food that Tabassum provides is with thought to what my child will and likes to eat.
Tabassum's space is social, safe and happy. My child enjoys going to her home after school. Tabassum's childmiding services definitely gives my child a home away from home. Thank you!

My son has autism.Parents who have special children know that they cannot entrust their children to just anyone.But I owe the amazing change in my son in this one year only to them.I thank them very much.If you still think you can't find it.Give this lady a chance. You too, like me, will see the magnificent change in your child, the warmth of the family and thank her.

Tabassum has been caring for my 9.5 month old for over three months now. Her personality and house was so lovely and welcoming, that we immediately knew this is the childminder, we wanted Nora to be taken care by. Tabassum's attentiveness to our child's needs and her communication with us has been excellent! I'd never had a Childminder before and was naturally concerned, but she made the process much easier. This was the first time my daughter had been left anywhere without at least one parent present. I can safely say that my daughter is reaching all her milestones and is doing well. I am reassured by this, and confident that I have made the right decision in choosing Tabassum!

Tabassum has been caring for my son for over a year now, and we couldn't be more pleased with the level of care she provides. My son is quite energetic, but she effortlessly engages him with a variety of indoor and outdoor activities. She's consistently punctual, cheerful, and polite, and the children she looks after adore her. They enjoy playing, drawing and crafting together regularly. Knowing that our child is safe and happy under her care gives us peace of mind, and we would gladly provide a reference for her.

My children have been picked up from school and looked after by Tabassum after school for the past year and we are so glad to have found her. We know they are always happy and safe, and get to play and have something to eat in a loving homely family environment. Highly recommended!
