About Me
Hello, my name is Sarah, and I run Little Acorns Childcare in Gornal. I am a registered Childminder. I am also a mother to 3 grown up daughters and have recently become a grandmother.
I love learning new things, reading, singing out loud, laughing, dancing, and crafting. More than that, I love to help children explore and find their love of learning and all this world can offer them. That is why I became a childminder and set up Little Acorns Childcare.
I want to offer children and families:
• a home from home environment,
• a safe place for learning and play,
• the opportunity to be active, explore, imagine, and create,
• the benefit of 25 years' experience in children’s' centres, schools, and social care.
Little Acorns Childcare is based in Gornal, within a 5 minutes’ walking distance of Roberts Primary School. I am enormously proud of the range of provision in place for children:
• dedicated room for childminding
• mud kitchen
• sand and water play
• outdoor playhouse
• choice of separate room for naps
• snacks, breakfast, evening meal, and groups*

My Availability
Little Acorns Childcare is open from 7.30am until 5.30pm, Monday to Friday, but hours outside of these may be available, please let me know.
My Fees
- Childminding from £6.00 per hour
My fees include snacks, breakfast, evening meal, and groups*
Children will need to bring their own packed lunch.
*some groups will incur an additional charge
