About Me

My name is Lilly. I'm a Mum to Tristan who is 2 and have another little boy due December this year. I've recently moved to the area at incredibly short notice and am a newly-single mum working as a Police Officer in London. I'm looking for childcare to cover Tuesday to Friday from September until December and then two days a week while I'm on maternity leave until December 2026.

I'm hopeful to find someone caring, loving and kind to look after Tristan and enrich his days when he's not with me. He has been at nursery in Hertford for a year and has loved his time there. I'm eager to make his transition into a new setting as smooth and consistent as possible as there will be other changes in his little life that may pose as a challenge.
My parenting style is relatively relaxed and my ethos is centred around Tristan becoming a good human being. Tristan comes from a large extended family with lots of cousins and my mum was a childminder as I was growing up. Tristan's personality is sociable, cuddly, chatty and inquisitive. He likes to make people laugh and is at his best when in the thick of it with others.
I'm happy to adapt Tristan's routine/schedule etc to fit into what works in your setting if needed and will always consider what works for you. I am aiming for him to be potty trained by September if he shows appropriate signs of readiness.
