About Me

I am a full-time working mum to two wonderful children. Our eldest is 6 years old (turning 7 in July), and our youngest is 5. They share a very close bond and love spending time together, whether that’s playing, being outdoors, or enjoying crafts at home.

We have been incredibly fortunate to have had the same nanny for the past 4.5 years, so finding the right person to join our family is really important to us.

We are looking for someone warm, energetic, and reliable, who genuinely enjoys working with children and can become a positive part of our home. Experience and a good understanding of Special Educational Needs (SEN) is essential, as our son attends a specialist school and has a diagnosis of autism.

The role will mainly involve:

- Collecting our daughter from the local primary school (approximately a 5-minute walk from our home)
-Supporting her at home with crafts and meals.
-Being at home to welcome our son when he returns via transport.

Typical hours:
3:00pm – 5:30pm, approximately 3 days per week (with some flexibility if needed)

Additional support:
We would also require some support during school holidays/half terms.

We are ideally looking for someone who:
- Is patient and trust worthy.
- Has experience supporting children with autism/SEN
- Can create a fun, creative activities.
-Holds a full UK driving licence
-Can provide two suitable references
-Has a valid DBS check
