My Requirements

We are a warm, organised family based in central Leamington Spa seeking a full-time nanny to care for our two children - a 3-year-old girl and a 1-year-old boy.

Our current nanny will be going on maternity leave, and we are ideally looking for someone to start around July to allow for a smooth, supported transition.

Both parents run our own business, and we are typically working weekdays. Our ideal hours are Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4:30pm, though we can offer flexibility for the right candidate.

About the Children
Our daughter (3) is bright, articulate, and confident. She has been fully potty trained since 18 months and enjoys being involved in daily routines—helping with laundry, unloading the dishwasher, and running small errands. She loves crafts, baking, and structured activities, and no longer naps but has quiet time each day.

Our son (1) is calm, content, and observant. He enjoys playing alongside his sister and is beginning to develop his language skills.

Both children thrive on a consistent routine, with a balance of local classes, playgroups, and calm afternoons spent at the park, playground, or library.

We are particularly drawn to a Norland-style approach - professional, calm, organised, and confident in guiding children’s development -though formal Norland training is not required.


The Role
* Sole charge care of both children
* Planning engaging, developmentally appropriate activities
* Attending local classes and outings (all walkable)
* Preparing nutritious meals and snacks
* Maintaining routines and supporting development
* Light nursery duties (children’s laundry, tidying play areas, etc.)


Additional Opportunities
Due to the nature of our work, we may occasionally require:

* Overnight care
* Travel with the family (with the option to combine with personal holiday time)


Live-In Option (Optional)
We are open to offering a live-in arrangement for the right candidate, particularly someone relocating or new to Leamington. This would include:

* A private bedroom and bathroom on a separate floor
* A comfortable degree of independence and privacy

What We’re Looking For
* A professional, reliable, and proactive nanny
* Experience with both toddlers and babies
* Enhanced DBS and paediatric first aid (or willingness to obtain)
* Excellent references

We are happy to employ via PAYE (with holiday and sick pay) or consider a contractor arrangement.
