My Requirements

We are a warm and friendly family based in central Leamington Spa (just a 5-minute walk to town) looking for a full-time live-out nanny to care for our 2-year-old daughter. This is a 1-year maternity cover position with the potential to continue into a permanent role.

Our daughter is bright, happy, and active, and thrives on her daily routine. She attends morning classes, playgroups, and activities, followed by a midday nap, and enjoys afternoons at the library, playground, or on playdates. She is also fully potty trained.

Mum is currently on maternity leave with a 9-week-old baby boy, whom she will care for full-time until he turns 1. At that point, Mum will return to work, and you will become the primary caregiver for both children.

Occasional support with the baby may be required during the first year, but your main focus will be our daughter until Mum returns to full time work.

Our home is set across three floors and central to Leamington so there is lots of space and access to local activities, shops, parks, playgroups etc.

Responsibilities:
-Provide a warm, engaging, and stimulating environment for our 2-year-old daughter
-Take her to local toddler classes, playgroups, and other planned activities (all within walking distance)
-Prepare healthy meals and snacks
-Maintain her daily routine, including nap times
-Organise age-appropriate play and outdoor activities
-Light nursery duties (e.g. tidying toys, washing children’s laundry)
-Transition to caring for both children once Mum returns to work when baby turns 1

Requirements:
-Previous experience with toddlers and babies
-Reliable, caring, and proactive personality
-Enhanced DBS check
-Paediatric first aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
-Excellent references

Start Date: January 2026 (somewhat flexible, however we would like there to be overlap with our current nanny so that our daughter has a soft transition)
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Location: Central Leamington Spa
