My Requirements

We are a warm, friendly family looking for a wonderful nanny to care for our two young daughters while our much-loved current nanny is on maternity leave. The position would begin in January 2027 and is expected to last approximately nine to twelve months.

Our eldest daughter is three and attends nursery school every weekday morning until 12.30pm. Our youngest will be about twenty months when the position begins. Both girls usually have a two-hour nap in the middle of the day.

We are genuinely flexible about the shape of the role because finding the right person is our priority. We would be very happy to consider either:
• A full-time nanny caring for our youngest during the day and both girls from lunchtime onwards; or
• An afternoon/after-school nanny, if we arrange for our youngest to attend nursery three or four mornings each week.

The role would include collecting our eldest from nursery, giving the girls lunch, overseeing their naps, planning age-appropriate play and activities, preparing their meals and taking care of the usual nursery duties relating to them.

We are looking for someone warm, dependable and genuinely affectionate who enjoys spending time with small children and will become a trusted part of our family during our nanny’s maternity leave. Our girls are used to having a close and loving relationship with their nanny, so personality and fit matter enormously to us.

We are based near Petersfield. Exact hours and days can be discussed with the right candidate, and we would be very happy to hear from people seeking either a full-time position or a predominantly afternoon role.
