About Me
We are a family of 4 with two young boys aged 4 and 5 years. Our 5 year old has ASD (PDA profile) and undiagnosed ADHD. My husband runs his own business and works long hours. I am a stay at home mum who works from home occasionally. Our 5 year old is currently on a very reduced timetable at school due to anxiety and feeling overwhelmed at times. This is having an impact on our family life as caring for him and keeping him regulated can be quite emotionally draining. We feel it may be beneficial for our family to have another adult work with our son occasionally to provide respite and prevent parental burnout.
My Requirements
We are looking for an experienced SEN nanny with understanding of ASD and in particular PDA. You will be working with our 5 year old, keeping him regulated and engaged in activities that interest him. He is a sensory seeker, loves novelty, humour, science, maths and being outdoors. The right person should be creative, easy-going, patient and kind.
