Part Time Nanny Job In Bristol
About Me
Ella & Joe, we live on Warwick Road BS6 in Bristol.
We have a wonderful cocker spaniel named Stella and are looking for a nanny to help us on Mondays as we have two boys, a 6-week-old and a 17-month-old, and my husband is going back to work in the office on this day. This would be supporting Ella with the children and some housework when they are napping.
My Requirements
2 requirements:
One full day nanny support for 2 children under 2 years old, with my wife on Mondays.
And Weekly cleaning of our family home.
This could be one person or two depending on availability.
Cleaning detail:
We’re looking for someone to clean our three-floor home on a weekly basis. Below is a breakdown of the areas we’d like covered.
We’re hoping for a thorough clean each week, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, wiping down surfaces, and fully cleaning the bathrooms and kitchen. We’re a tidy and organised household (our last cleaner always appreciated that!), so the home is generally well maintained.
The main aim is to help take some pressure off my wife as I return to working in the office.
We estimate this would be around 5 hours of work per week, but we’d be very happy to show you around and discuss timings. We’re flexible on whether this is completed in one session or split across two visits in the week. We would supply all cleaning products and items needed for cleaning.

We were very lucky. Our original Night Nanny canceled on us 10 days before our baby was due. In a bit of a panic, we started messaging lots of people on childcare.com. Ellie called us almost instantly and was so outraged that she managed to shuffle things around to come and help us. I think this points to the type of person she is. She is kind and thoughtful, loves babies, and clearly loves her job.
Ellie was with us for a month from 2 weeks after our baby was born. This was ideal as it helped us settle into a routine and for my wife to recover from her C-section by getting lots of unbroken sleep. Ellie also helped to give us the confidence to get our baby into the nursery straight away. This is where she is great. She will support you in your choices but give you good advice to make sure you do not fail in what you are trying to achieve.
The best thing Ellie does is make herself at home straight away, so it doesn't feel odd having her in your home. She becomes part of the family while she is there, and I could not recommend her more.
