My Summary

My Experience

I currently work part-time in a First School with children aged 2-9 years and until recently nannied for a busy family with four children 3-9 years. I have previously worked in Children's Social Services as a residential support worker and more recently worked as a higher level teaching assistant/cover supervisor in a primary school supporting both mainstream and SEN pupils. I have grown up with animals and am very outdoorsy and a qualified veterinary nurse. So when the saying is "Never work with children or animals" - I clearly didn't get the memo as I have always worked with one or other both of which I love.
I’m now on school holidays so available for childcare/babysitting until 1st September.

My Qualifications

I hold a full, clean driving licence and an enhanced DBS certificate (November 2024) have worked as a Learning Support assistant in a Junior school with both mainstream and SEN children. I've also worked within Social Children's Services. I was also a School Governor in a small, village Primary School for 7 years.
Completed and passed all GCSE's, BTEC National Diploma in Health and Social Care, BA Hons Degree, professional QVN qualification and various CPD training including Safeguarding, Prevent, Team Teach, First Aid, Fire Marshal to name a few. Since moving to Somerset I work in a local village First School and until last month as a part-time nanny.

My Availability

I live rurally but am available for babysitting throughout the school holidays.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour

My hourly rate starts at £15 for one child but can negotiate for additional children and fuel allowance.
