About Me
Hello, I’m Sophie and I’m 19 from Winchester. I’m currently at the University of Winchester studying Primary Education as my passion is to be a primary school teacher. I would like to work in a range of schools working with children of different ages and abilities. I have lots of experience working in education and childcare settings.
My Experience
When I attend Peter Symonds college in 2022-2023, I did a T level in education and early years course which I received a distinction. As part of this course, I worked part time at my old primary school as a TA. I gained loads of experience working in the school environment and supporting the needs of the children in the school.
In the summer of 2022, I worked at a nursery as a summer job. This was also beneficial when developing my practice as I was working with children who were younger then the ones I was used to. I have enjoyed working at both and taking on the challenges they have given me. Whilst at College, I also did a first aid course which I passed.
On my course at University, I have been on placement at a SEND school which I have learnt a lot from and given me new opportunities. I have had experiences with babysitting in my neighbourhood and with family friends.

Distinction - in my t level course at college
Currently studying at University
I am also first aid trained
