About Me
Looking for a warm, home-from-home setting for your child in Stevenage?
Hi, I’m Anna, an Ofsted registered childminder based close to Stevenage Old Town, the Town Centre and train station — ideal for busy families needing a convenient location.
I provide a calm, caring and nurturing home environment where children are welcomed as part of the family. My cosy, non-smoking home is shared with my husband, our two sons and our friendly dog, who is very gentle and used to being around children.
I have a background in education, psychology, schools and the NHS, along with many years of experience caring for young children. As a mum myself, I understand how important it is to find childcare where your child feels safe, happy and loved.
Our days are filled with play, learning and fun, including:
• Crafts and messy play
• Sensory activities
• Stories and songs
• Outdoor play and walks
• Trips to parks, libraries and playgroups
• Educational toys and free play
I provide a relaxed routine with lots of individual attention, helping children grow in confidence, independence and social skills at their own pace.
Healthy home-cooked meals and snacks are included, and I work closely with parents to make sure children feel settled and cared for.
I offer:

• A low-ratio, home-based environment
I am DBS checked and trained in paediatric first aid, safeguarding and food hygiene, and I follow the EYFS framework.

My Experience
I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Education and a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychology and Learning Disability. Additionally, I have Level 3 qualifications in Child Care and Health and Social Care.
My background includes courses in supporting learning, autism, ADHD, and more.
I've worked in both mainstream and special schools, as well as in healthcare (NHS)

Anna has been an absolutely amazing childminder for our family. My daughter has been with her for over a year and is still attending, and from day one Anna has been kind, caring, welcoming, and incredibly supportive.
She provides a warm, safe, and nurturing environment, with lots of engaging activities, outings, and even trips. My daughter continues to learn so much during her time with Anna, especially through arts and crafts, creative play, music, and dancing. It’s wonderful to see her confidence and skills grow.
Anna is trustworthy, dedicated, and very flexible, which is such a reassurance for working parents. Seeing my daughter leave with a smile and say, “I’ll be back tomorrow,” truly shows how safe and happy she feels in Anna’s care.
We have complete peace of mind knowing our child is in such good hands, and that’s why we are planning to send our son to Anna as well. I genuinely believe she deserves the highest rating for her outstanding care and commitment.

Anna has been an exceptional childminder for my son over the past year. She is trustworthy, dedicated, and consistently provides a warm and caring environment. My son enjoyed his time with her and frequently asked for his next time.
Anna offers a wide range of engaging activities , crafts and dancing and high quality food , demonstrates great flexibility to accommodate the needs of working parents. Her support gave me complete peace of mind. I genuinely believe she deserves the highest rating for her outstanding service
