Hayley
Part Time Nanny With Special Needs Experience Job In Oakham
About Me
My name is Hayley, me and my husband have 2 beautiful children. 1 boy, 13 years with SEN (autism, communication difficulties, incontinence and mild mobility issues e.g. struggles to climb a ladder or climbing frame) and 1 girl 9 years with dyslexia (and school anxiety) a touch of sass but is incredibly kind and into art. We own a lovely labrador called Rosie, so you must be okay with excitable dogs. Looking for someone to be my sons PA for after school clubs and during term time breaks/summer to attend clubs or pursue interests which inc horseriding, swimming, trains and cooking. I would also be looking for someone occasionally for respite care for both children on evenings. I would require a meet n greet (time would be compensated) the children prior to commiting to ensure care is suitable for both parties. The childcare I am looking to secure is 1 or 2 days a week in the half term/summer months of April, July, August and October (flexible but they will need to be the same day every week preferably for consistency). They both enjoy time out at the park on scooters, days out such as national space centre or local acitivites.
My Requirements
My son Phillip requires helps with personal care (incontinence) and needs supervision at all times. Ensuring his safety as he has no danger awareness. DBS checked ideally or references preferable. Will need help and encouragnent to access and engage in activities like swimming, park and other local events (of your choosing). PA would ideally use own transport to chaperone but this would be compensated for. Experience with SEN required, a sense of humour and lots of patience to help him complete everyday tasks or enjoy interests (watching trains or building track). My daughter Scarlett needs someone who is sensitive and empathetic when looking after both for respite. Looking for occasional PA work 1 to 2 days per week 830 to 3pm (son only) and respite care at weekends (both kids) during holidays and half term.

Amie works with our family and has been an asset to our young man (12 yrs with Profound ASD and SEN). Helping him build his independance to attend activities of interest, whilst nuturing his development and has become a good friend to him (no easy feat). She is also brilliant with my daughter 9 years. Amie encourages creativity in learning and play, whilst ensuring both children's needs are met. As well offering occasional respite sessions for us parents. She is reliable and trustworthy (I don't trust many with my kids).
