My Experience

I have over 10 years of hands-on experience working with children from birth up to 12 years old across nurseries, schools, holiday clubs and private family homes. I have extensive, dedicated experience supporting children with autism, ADHD, sensory differences and additional needs. I am naturally patient, calm and adaptable, and I am confident following visual timetables, sensory routines, dietary requirements and behaviour support plans. I am fully experienced with all daily routines including feeding, weaning, bedtime, toileting, activities, emotional support and administering medication. I treat every child as an individual and adapt my care to meet their unique needs.

My Qualifications

I hold a valid, up to date DBS check which is registered on the Update Service, so it can be viewed and verified at any time on request. I am paediatric first aid trained and fully confident in responding to emergencies and administering basic first aid. I have completed training in safeguarding children, child protection, food hygiene and safety, and health and safety. I also hold specific training and knowledge around supporting children with autism and special educational needs, including understanding sensory needs, communication strategies and positive behaviour support. I am committed to keeping my knowledge up to date and regularly completing further training to ensure I am providing the best possible care.

My Availability

My daughter Ava Louise is at school from 8:50am until 3:15pm each weekday, so I am fully available during school hours. On Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays she has her after-school activities starting at 4:15pm / 4:30pm, so I am not available from that time onwards on those days. On Mondays and Thursdays I have no after-school commitments and am available all day and evening. On Saturdays I have her boxing in the morning so I am unavailable then, but fully available from mid-morning onwards through the rest of the day and evening. Sundays I am completely free and flexible all day and evening. I am also happy to discuss occasional evenings, weddings and school holiday bookings.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £12.00 per hour

My standard rate is £12 per hour for regular bookings, evenings and weekends. For special events such as weddings, my rate is higher at £16 per hour due to the nature of the day, longer hours and additional responsibility. I am happy to discuss your individual needs and agree a clear rate in advance so there are no surprises. A deposit may be requested for bookings over 4 hours or for special events to secure your date.
