About Me
Hi I’m Lauren, I am an Ofsted registered nanny and qualified early years practitioner with a degree in education and early years, I have a breadth of childcare experiences from children aged 0 - 11, both in professional and at home environments. I am a passionate carer and I strive for children to have access to the best experiences for their growth and development in my care. I have a wide range of knowledge on child development, the KS1 and 2 curriculum, nurturing activities and safeguarding. I hold an enhanced DBS and I am first aid trained, additionally I have a level 2 in food hygiene as well as being allergy aware. Above all, I love child centred education and care, alongside time outdoors and plenty of activities and play.
My Experience
My recent childcare experience includes nursery nursing, this has ranged between the ages of 5 months and 4 years old, as well as babysitting. I am particularly experienced with babies and toddlers. Additionally I have tutoring experience and teaching experience in an early years classroom, as well as experience educating children up to 11 years old.
My Qualifications
I hold a first class bachelors degree in early years education alongside a masters in education psychology.
