About Me
Hey I’m Lauren May, I’m 30 years old, I’m a freelancer, small business owner and love to cook! I live in the Market Harborough area and I’m looking to help a family throughout the week with household tasks. Ideally I’d love to help with childcare/cooking/ meal prep/light cleaning duties and babysitting. My work week changes weekly and some weeks I have no freelance work and can offer more time but as a minimum I can offer 3 days a week dependent on the days required as this may change weekly. I’m very easy going, spiritual and love being outside.
My Experience
I have always been super hands on with my nieces and my own step daughter. I love to cook and clean/ meal prep and found I have some free time to do these tasks for others too. I have ample childcare experience and I am a step mum to a now 16 year old so have lots of experience with babies- teenagers. I’d really love to help new mums and be a helping hand to family’s with the mundane tasks so your days can flow more easily. Looking to work with a family long term that has understanding of work/life balance and is flexible with days worked.
My Qualifications
- Essential First Aid completed
- DBS check completed
My Availability
I am a freelancer so my days change weekly/ some weeks I have no work and more availability for this work. I always know a week ahead of time what I’ll be working the following week and can always commit to 3 days minimum across the week. Hoping to work with a family that has some flexibility and is happy to add in more days where necessary or switch around days if needed on a weekly basis as long as all agreed hours are covered. I also drive and have my own vehicle but would be insured to drive your own vehicle too if preferred.
I am also available for trips / holidays for extra support if required.
