Originally from Scotland, I have lived in London for over 20 years and worked mainly as a nanny/ governess for three families, with children aged 4-16yrs. I now work as an operations manager for a charity and am interested in babysitting/ weekend nanny roles.
My Experience
I have worked with children in many different capacities, starting in teaching environments and nurseries and running stage schools for over 300 children aged 4-8yrs throughout London. Following this, I was a governess for a family for five years, supporting their 6 year old son to learn English, and tutoring him through to secondary school. My work for this family included overnight stays (often week long stays when parents travelled for work) and remain in contact with family, now that the children are grown.
My Qualifications
NSPCC Children Safeguarding Certification; over 20 years experience working with children in various education and family settings.
