My Summary
About Me
I am currently a uni student and have successfully completed my Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications in Health and Social Care. Throughout my studies, I developed a strong interest in working with children and enjoy supporting their learning, development, and wellbeing. I am a kind, caring, and compassionate individual who is well organised, reliable, and responsible. I have a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and enjoy building trusting relationships with children and their families. I am passionate about creating a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. I look forward to continuing to build my knowledge, skills, and experience in child development and care as I progress in my career.
My Experience
During my two week placement at a nursery, I had the opportunity to follow the children’s set routine and support the daily structure of the day. I participated in a variety of activities with the children, including story time, creative play, outdoor games, and group learning sessions. I was also able to take on some responsibility by helping to organise and prepare activities, ensuring that they were age-appropriate and engaging. This experience allowed me to build positive relationships with the children and develop my confidence in working within a childcare setting, while also deepening my understanding of how important routines and structure are in early years development. I am also currently working part-time at a primary school as part of my work experience. In this role, I have developed a range of valuable skills, including building positive relationships with pupils and staff, improving my communication and teamwork abilities, and supporting children in a learning environment.
For the past six months, I have completed a placement at a primary school, working two to three days per week with children across different age groups. During my placement, I supported teachers in the classroom, assisted pupils with their learning activities, and helped create a positive and engaging learning environment.
My responsibilities included working with small groups and individual children, providing support with classwork, encouraging participation, and helping pupils develop their confidence and social skills. I also assisted with classroom organisation, supervised activities, and ensured the wellbeing and safety of the children at all times.
This experience has helped me develop strong communication, teamwork, patience, and problem-solving skills. Working closely with primary school children has strengthened my ability to build positive relationships, adapt to different learning needs, and support children’s educational and personal development.

I came across Sanjidah on this site and am so grateful! She is a wonderful, gentle, trustworthy person who took lovely care of my son. Sanjidah was happy for me to leave instructions for what I needed and made an effort to engage my son in the activities he would enjoy. I really appreciated her gentleness and I know my son grew attached so much so he didn’t want her to leave! I definitely would book Sanjidah again if the need arose!! Thank you so much Sanjidah and I hope to see you again sometime soon!
