About Me
I am a childminder in Kenley providing care in a nurturing home from home setting. I am open from 7am - 5pm. My setting includes a secure patio garden to explore for your little ones, providing many activities including messy play, sand and water and a playhouse. I also love reading stories, doing craft activities, going on outings to toddler groups, parks and other fun places like National Trust properties. I provide healthy food including snacks, breakfast and lunch.
I have 30+ years experience of childcare as a nanny, childminder, practitioner in independent schools, and in nurseries with all age groups. I trained at Chiltern Nursery Training College which is internationally recognised.
I live near Kenley Primary School and walking distance from Kenley, Whyteleafe, and Upper Warlingham train stations. Buses 407 and 434 are within walking distance and 439 is a hail and ride from the property.
I live with my husband Martin and our twin children, who are active in the Air Cadets and Explorer Scouts. I love walking, volunteering in the community and caring for our ginger cat and pampered guinea pigs.

From our very first meeting, I knew Pippa would be a perfect fit for my son, Arthur—and she truly has been. The care she provides is outstanding, with a wonderful balance of structure, fun, and genuine warmth.
She is incredibly flexible and attentive, keeping us well-informed about Arthur’s development and milestones with thoughtful updates. Most importantly, she creates a loving, “home from home” environment where each child feels valued and supported.
Her ability to provide person-centred care while meeting the needs of all the children is remarkable. I have complete trust in her and couldn’t recommend her more highly.

I was very nervous about leaving my son with anyone but Pippa made me such at ease with the whole transition. My son loves going everyday and he has gained so much confidence and I’ve loved watching it. Pippa gives daily insights into what your child has been doing and ate. Always provides healthy foods for lunch and snack (that’s the times my son stays for).
I would definitely recommend Pippa to anyone! Thank you Pippa for everything you do for him.

Pip provided a first class childminding service for us, my son adored her! Very warm, smiley and her experience shows in her confidence with the children. Varied activities, regular outings to all sorts of places, healthy yummy food. Would highly recommend Pippa for anyone nervous about leaving their child for the first time, they’ll be leaving them in a very, very good pair of hands.
