About Me

Hello, My name is Hannah, I am Ofsted registered and the owner of
'Little Sunflowers' In Thurmaston Leicester. I am married , we have a little boy who is 6 years old and we have our three very friendly cats.
I love my job and watching the children grow, learn and progress in all areas of learning.
During the daytime I look after Early years children between the ages of 6 months - 4 years and I do school drop off and picks up for Eastfield Primary school in Thurmaston for the older children.
I offer a home from home setting from my home. We have a beautiful cabin built in the garden full of weekly activities for all ages to enjoy. We also have a great garden space. We go out most days to parks, soft play, play groups, museums, forest schools and lots more.
The children mix with lots of different children of different ages which is fantastic for their Learning and development.
I absolutely love the outdoors, forest school, messy play, planting flowers and exploring and most importantly making sure all the children have lots of fun!

My Experience

I worked in a school for more than 10 years and have lots of experience with children in early years. In 2024 I starting childminding from home and it was the best decision for me and my family. We have a cabin built in the back garden where we spend most of our days learning, playing and exploring.

My Qualifications

I have Level 3 in childcare and I also have Level 4 in Teaching and learning.
I have fully paediatric first Aid trained.
I have full DBS and full safeguarding training
