About Me
We are a professional couple looking for a reliable, caring and proactive live-out nanny to join for a long-term basis. We are looking for an after-school nanny, with some flexibility during the school holidays. Our children are 3 years (M) and 5 years (F).
As a family, we love keeping busy, seeing family and friends and travelling. We equally love a slow weekend where we will take a walk (or scoot) to the park to go on the swings and run around with a football.
My Requirements
The ideal candidate will be an extension of our family and someone who loves working with children. The nanny will support our kids grow into happy, kind and confident individuals. We are looking for a nanny who meets the following requirements:
• Fluent in English
• Have a minimum of 5 years early childcare experience
• Be organised and tidy; kind and patient
• A non-smoker
• DBS checked
• Valid first aid qualification
The position is to commence ideally from September/October, though we can be flexible for the right candidate.
Our nanny will be required to fulfil the following activities:
• Pick-up of children from school (same school, not more than a 10min walk from our house)
• Prepare fresh and nutritious meals for the children
• Tidy kitchen after children’s meals and toys/activities by the end of each day
• Keep children’s rooms tidy; wash and put away their clothes
• Taking care of the children’s hygiene needs, e.g. bathing and changing as required
• Soothe and comfort children
• Provide updates at the end of each day
• Facilitate fun and developmentally focused activities at home or in local surroundings
In return, we will treat you with care and respect, and provide you with a fulfilling and rewarding job.
Specifically we can offer -
• 20 hours p/week for approx. 38 weeks a year (during school term), Monday to Friday, 3:00pm to 7:00pm
• Availability to work up to 50 hours p/week (during school holidays), Monday to Frida
• Competitive package
• We can also include regular babysitting for additional payment if that’s of interest
• Located in SW18 (off Burntwood Lane)
• Off-street parking can be provided if needed (NB: you will not be required to drive for the job)
We will offer a paid trial period to the selected candidate to give both sides a chance to ensure we have the right dynamic.
