About Me
Hello, I am an Ofsted registered Childminder in Gleadless S12 (Close to Gleadless Common).
I live with my husband, 2 children (age 7 and 5) and our 12 year old Staffordshire bull terrier Roxy. My setting is home from home and children and their families are invited to be treated as part of our family.
I am friendly, caring and thoughtful and prioritise the safety and happiness of children at all times.
I love being able to support children in developing and learning about their world and community. We regularly go on trips out to play groups, soft play, parks, local farms, shops and libraries amongst other places to help children to gain as much experience of our world as possible.
At home we enjoy crafts, baking, playing with a wide range of toys and playing in the garden.
I work 7.30am - 5.30pm Tuesday - Friday and Mondays term time only to allow me to spend time with my own children.
I offer pick up and drop offs at Gleadless Primary School and can provide term time only and holiday cover contracts as well as under 5s care all year round.
My last Ofsted inspection was in January 2024 where I was rated GOOD.
My Experience
I have been an Ofsted childminder since July 2023, and prior to this have experience of raising my own 2 children as well as providing care for my families children.
My Qualifications
I have qualifications in:
Childminding
Paediatric first aid
Safeguarding
Food Hygiene
Alongside this I have undertaken several courses in child development including using loose parts play, treasure baskets and understanding Schemas. I have also done courses about SEND early indicators and autism awareness. I regularly complete new courses to develop my knowledge and understanding.

If you're considering Zoey to care for your children, I cannot recommend highly enough. Since taking care of my 3 year old, his development has come on in leaps and bounds (he had delayed speech) and Zoey has supported us as a family with this where we now have no concerns. The activities she plans and the outings she takes them on are really varied and tailored to what he enjoys. She has also helped him settle into preschool over recent months which he really struggled with, her patience and passion for what she does shines through and as a family we can't thank her enough for everything she has done for our son. From day 1, he has been treated as part of their family and the bond he has with Zoey and her family has been lovely to see grow.
