About Me
Hello, my name is Kirsty. I am a mum of 3 children and first hand experience of being a sen mum to my autistic daughter. I have previously cared for vulnerable adults in the care industry with 5 years experience. Having had my two boys 18 months apart, I became a stay at home parent and I have loved every moment of it. Now that my youngest is getting a little older, I am excited to be able to offer little ones a home from experience which will aim to offer everything that we would want in a childcare setting; a rich, varied and safe space in which children can play, explore, learn and be creative.
My home offers a cosy relaxed environment which has lots of floor space both in and outdoors. We will also be doing lots of arts & crafts, themed weeks and lots of messy/sensory play. We also have the local woods at the back of the house, parks in walking distance and have accessible playgroups and libraries close by too. We also travel further afield also.
My Experience
Within my childminding setting, i have worked with children for 2 years. Alongside being a mum for 10+ years with children who have additional needs, I have also previously cared for vulnerable adults in the care industry with 5 years experience. The adults I cared for had either physical or learning disabilities. My job supported them to be as independent as they possibly could while living in their own homes.

I am trying to be as flexible as I can so my hours are between 08.00-16.00. Please enquire further through all avenues.
My Fees
- Childminding from £7.00 per hour
All types of funding accepted.
Please note there is a fee of £1 per late minute.

My son has been in Kirsty’s care for four months, and I’ve never felt more at ease leaving him. He absolutely loves going. When searching Kirsty was the only childminder who offered a home visit, which immediately made me feel confident and comfortable.
Kirsty's setting is always clean, organised, and full of engaging indoor and outdoor activities. She also takes the children out regularly to soft play, playgroups, and other places to explore, something my little boy enjoys so much.
Kirsty is fantastic with the children and is a lovely, reliable person. Her communication is excellent, and she provides regular updates throughout the day, which is hugely reassuring. I’m extremely happy with the care she provides my son and would highly recommend her.

We can't thank Mrs. Kirsty enough for everything she's done for our little one. Fabiano spent two months at Mrs. Kirsty's home, and it's been wonderful. Her home is cozy and has everything you need to keep the children entertained while they learn. From our first visit, how she showed us her home, talked about her family, and the activities she does with the children, everything has been perfect for us. Thank you so much, Mrs. Kirsty, for being a wonderful childminder for Fabiano.
