My Requirements

We are a family based in Cobham seeking a proactive, caring and highly organised nanny-housekeeper/family assistant to support our home and three young children (5, 4, 1).

This is initially a fixed-term role from June through late summer/early autumn, with the potential to become permanent depending on our childcare and schooling arrangements from September onwards.

One of our children would benefit from additional support, so we are particularly interested in candidates who are patient, emotionally intelligent, calm under pressure and experienced supporting children with differing developmental or emotional needs.

The role will include:

Assisting with day-to-day childcare
Helping maintain structure and routines
Nursery/school pickup and activities
Age-appropriate play and engagement
Baby/toddler support
Meal prep for children
Children’s laundry and organisation
Household management and housekeeping
Helping the household run smoothly overall

We are looking for someone who:

Has prior nanny or nanny-housekeeper experience
Is warm, discreet and dependable
Is highly organised and proactive
Can confidently work
Has excellent references
Holds (or is willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS
Driver preferred, not essential

Role options:

Considering full-time or part-time. With ad-hoc, pre agreed evening / weekend / travel potentially possible
Live-in or live-out considered
Fixed-term initially, with potential to extend permanently
Competitive salary depending on experience
