First time leaving our baby boy

We were due to go to a wedding for 10 hours where no children were allowed and needed a sitter for this.
Our 6 month old baby boy is exclusively breastfed and often refuses the bottle even when it's breast milk so I was worried he'd go on hunger strike and be inconsolable.
We booked a trial sit for 4 hours before the big one.
Alice Sabine arrived early and immediately took him in her arms while I walked around the house showing her various things and what was needed. She could sense how nervous I was and put us at ease telling us about herself, her own children and her experience.
We went out for dinner for the first time without our boy!
She sent us messages with updates on what he was doing. Played with him, bathed him, fed him(!) and put him to bed. She fed him again when he woke a few hours later and she stayed in the room with him when he slept.
When the day of the wedding came I was so much more relaxed and pretty much just left her to it! Came home early because we missed him but knew he was in good hands the whole time! Would definitely recommend. Her love for children and passion for what she does shines through!
