About Me
Hi! My name is Kristen and I'm a qualified primary school teacher with over 6 years experience working with children ages 6 months to 11 years old. I am also a proud mum to my gorgeous 16 month old daughter. I am originally from Canada and have lived in the UK for over 8 years, 5 were in London and 3 have been in the West Midlands. I am passionate about travelling, cooking and spending time outdoors.
My Experience
I graduated with a Bachelor's of Education in 2015 and have worked with multiple age groups since. Initially starting in a preschool, I was responsible for babies ages 6-18 months. Following this, I worked as a Reception teacher and the EYFS coordinator. I also taught Year 2 and Year 4. I also have experience working as a supply teacher across all of the primary curriculum and have provided nannying services to local families. Through all of these roles, I have developed a strong understanding of the EYFS and Primary curriculum and have worked with a wide range of students and abilities. My approach is playful, creative and engaging.

My Availability
I am currently a stay at home mum and can provide babysitting/childminding during the day from 8am-4pm (but can be flexible). Tutoring hours will include after school and occasionally on weekends.

- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
- Tutoring from £30.00 per hour
