About Me

Hi, I’m Tessa and I run ‘Happy Hoglets Childminding’. I am a registered Ofsted childminder and I live in Hessle with my husband and our dog, a child friendly sprocker spaniel. I provide a warm, safe and fun home-from-home environment, where your little ones can learn, play and grow. I have a dedicated playroom and secure garden for your child to enjoy free play and child led activities. We will also spend lots of time outdoors, exploring woodland areas, nature trails, local parks, libraries, also bus and train rides. As a mum & grandma, I understand the importance of working closely with you to achieve the best tailored care for your child, through every little step of their journey.

My Experience

With over 15 years’ experience as an EYFS Teaching Assistant, I have a strong understanding of early childhood development and how young children learn through play.
I am an Ofsted registered childminder, providing a nurturing, home-from-home environment where children feel happy, secure and confident to explore and learn. I was recently inspected by Ofsted and received ‘Strong’ judgements across all areas.
My experience and passion for working with young children help me provide high-quality care and meaningful learning experiences tailored to each child’s individual needs.
