Our son is three years old and is a happy, curious and energetic child who loves conversation, play, books and being outdoors.
We value kindness, reliability and a calm environment, and we are looking for someone who enjoys engaging with children and supporting their development through play, routine and gentle structure.
My Requirements
We are looking for a dependable, experienced and proactive nanny to care for our three year old son during the summer months each year.
Schedule
Monday to Friday
8am to 2pm
Plus possibly two afternoons per week (agreed in advance)
Role responsibilities
• Engaging our son in age appropriate play and activities
• Encouraging learning through play, reading and conversation
• Preparing simple meals and snacks
• Maintaining routines
• Light child related tidying and organisation
• Possibly two afternoons per week assisting with light household tasks
Candidate qualities
• OFSTED registered (essential)
• Experienced with preschool aged children
• Energetic, patient and warm
• Reliable and punctual
• Organised and self sufficient
• Excellent references
Additional information
Optional accommodation may be available year round outside working months. This role may suit someone seeking a stable, longer term arrangement alongside part time summer employment.
