About Me
Hi! My name’s Ruby. I’ve just finished running kids’ summer camps and also have experience working in primary schools and as a pastoral worker, supporting children’s wellbeing as well as their learning. I’ve always loved working with kids and would describe myself as naturally caring and patient. In my spare time, I enjoy reading or going on a nice dog walk. I also drive and have access to my own car.
My Experience
I have worked with children across a wide range of settings, from mainstream and SEN schools to holiday camps. Most recently, I ran kids’ summer camps, planning and leading activities for children aged 3–16. I have also worked in primary schools supporting children in the classroom, as well as taking on a pastoral role where I supported pupils’ wellbeing and personal development. Through these roles I’ve built strong skills in childcare, behaviour management, and creating fun, engaging activities tailored to children’s needs.
My Qualifications
I have an enhanced child and adult DBS as well as a safegaurding children level 1.
