About Me
Hello! We're a family of four based in Cotham. We have two wonderful, friendly children: a 5 year old son and a 2 year old daughter.
Our son recently started reception at the local school, and is a relaxed, confident and fun-loving child. He loves adventure and anything with wheels, doing puzzles, drawing, reading and being outdoors (riding his bike, climbing in playgrounds, playing football, etc.).
Our daughter attends nursery full-time. She is a very bubbly and smiley toddler, and loves chatting and being in on the action!
Both children are very affectionate, sociable and full of smiles. They adapt well to different situations and people.
My partner and I both work demanding, full-time jobs in the creative sector, and are looking for a little help around the edges with the children – particularly because my partner's work takes him to London on a weekly basis, so I am often on my own with the kids.
My Requirements
We are looking for a kind, nurturing and calm nanny to support with the two children after school and into the early evening. We would ideally like someone who can commit 3–5 days/week (but are also flexible), ideally 3.30–7.30pm, to support with school / nursery pick-ups, dinner preparation, some basic housework and winding the kids down for bedtime.
We run a tidy, well-organised household and the children are generally well-behaved and easy to care for.

Parul worked as an after-school nanny for our family for several months. During this time, she cared for our two children—our 2-year-old daughter and 5-year-old son—and quickly became an invaluable part of our household.
Parul’s responsibilities included preparing meals, collecting the children from nursery and school, feeding them their dinner, tidying the house, assisting with laundry, and helping to get the children ready for bed. She carried out all these duties with the greatest competence, care, and reliability. She always demonstrated initiative in seeking out ways to help us out further; for example, asking where we liked to do our groceries so that she could pick up extra provisions when we ran out.
Even though her time with us was relatively short, Parul immediately felt like part of the family. Our children adored her, and they were always comfortable and happy in her care. She has a quiet, warm presence that brought a sense of calm to our home, and she demonstrated great attentiveness in observing how we liked things done, consistently following our lead and respecting our routines and preferences.
Parul is an incredibly genuine person—she never approached her duties as though they were just a job. It was always clear that her connection with the children came from the heart. Her kindness, sincerity, and natural ability to connect with them made a huge difference in our lives. We were continually impressed by her conscientiousness and the thoughtful care she brought to every aspect of her role. Parul is dependable, devoted, and truly wonderful with children.

Hollie was our children's nanny for 9 months, though she primarily cared for our 1yo daughter. We cannot speak highly enough of the warmth, energy, and professionalism she brought to our home every day.
Hollie was consistently proactive in ensuring the children were engaged and stimulated. She organised regular trips to local playgroups and different activities, and frequently planned special day trips further afield, treating the children to fun and educational outings. Our children were always excited to see her and returned from their adventures happy.
Hollie was a phenomenal support in the kitchen, a huge bonus for our busy family. The children loved her cooking, often requesting her meals over our own! We particularly appreciated her thoughtfulness in preparing batch meals.
Hollie approached her role with a natural empathy and foresight that comes from being a mother herself. It was immediately clear that she understood children's needs, handling everything from daily routines to minor issues with gentle authority and confidence. A testament to her nurturing character was the wonderful relationship she shares with her own daughter, Meadow, who sometimes joined the children. Their positive dynamic was lovely to witness and always reinforced our complete confidence in Hollie's care.
