About Me
My name is Marie and I am a mum of four.
I have worked in the childcare sector for the past 30 years and have decided that now is a great time to open up my home to families who are in need of childcare now that my own children have grown up. I will be co-minding with my close friend Kara who I have worked previously with for the past 5 years. She also is qualified and has over 25 years of childcare experience.
Our passion is to provide a ‘home from home’ experience, with in a safe, nurturing environment, where every child, no matter what their needs can explore all areas of development through child led play.
My Experience
Since leaving school at the age of 16 years old, I went straight into an apprenticeship where I worked in a private day nursery whilst gaining my NVQ Level 2 and 3 in childcare and education.
I have worked in private day nurseries and schools as a Nursery Practitioner with children between the ages of 0-5 years over the past 30 years as well as raising my own four children.
My Qualifications
I am NVQ level 2 and 3 qualified in childcare and education plus have an up to date First Aid and safeguarding certificate.
My Availability
We will be open 48 weeks of the year and will accept 15/30 hour funding for all age groups as well as families paying privately.

My Fees
- Childminding from £7.50 per hour
7.50 per hour based on a 10 hour day - £75 per day. This includes breakfast, snacks, drinks and a hot meal.
