Hi, I am play therapist in training and as such see how every interaction can lead to the development of healthy and happy children. I believe in the power of play and creativity, and love entering the rich worlds children create. I am fun, kind and firm. My experience as a teacher and therapist gives me a deep understanding of the balance between boundaries and safety, both of which are needed for a child to thrive.
My Experience
I have worked as a tutor at explore learning, this is where I first developed my love for playing games with children. I was then a secondary school science teacher for four years. After this I worked for two years in a primary referral unit, where I supported children between 5-11 who have unique needs. This job taught me to deeply listen to and appropriately respond to maladaptive behaviours. As a trainee play therapist I have worked with children with a range of difficulties, whereby the building of a safe and secure relationship has facilitated lasting change.

Biology bsc (2:1)
PGCE (secondary science)
My Availability
I am free Mondays and Tuesdays all day, Wednesday mornings and weekends.
